21st Masquerade Party


I know the great happenings and 'thank you's have been mentioned on facebook, yet I still want to pen down my fabulous once-in-a-lifetime 21st birthday party at Naumi Hotel! :D


Needless for me to describe how awesome the Luxury Suite at Naumi Hotel was, everyone who came has witnessed it all. I was so elated by the free upgraded suite which was beautifully furnished that matches the theme for my birthday!

Upon settling in, the clock started ticking for me to start on decorations and executing the plans (stressful, lots of hardwork) that I was on 2 months back. All thanks to the help of my family and friends, all the decorations were done on time as I get myself dolled up and friends were arrived at the doorstep. Not forgetting those who came early to help out and sneak bring up the rest of the group.

Subsequently, food, cupcakes and desserts were all collected at respective locations and delivered up on time by my brother, gf and Dearie! :D That's when the party has officially started! Photo-taking was a must-have; Very thankful to Zoe who brought her aunt's polaroid and become the 'Polaroid' girl for the night and Giselle, Sengyie and Jiamin naturally took the role of being the photographers for all the shots that I've took with all the guests! THANK YOU ALL! (It must be really tiring for you all!)





While most of them know that I'll be changing to another dress during cake-cutting, yet some that was keep in suspense must be wondering "Wah, like wedding dinner!". Indeed, I guess to me, 21st birthday is like a wedding, a once in a lifetime event that wouldn't want to regret not celebrating like how I want it to be. Especially me being a perfectionist, each details has to be carefully thought for. The dresses ain't planned but I didn't want to miss the chance of wearing the 2 pretty dresses on such an event. :)

After the party has ended, some of my poly friends stayed behind having HTHT. It was great and only if I weren't so worn out, I would have joined their conversation. Eventually, I went to bed during midnight as I was freezing, leaving baby and my friends in the living room as there ain't enough beds to sleep. Sorry guys! :(

The party was totally energy-draining but it was all worthwhile for that fabulous 21st birthday memories with my awesome family, friends and Dearie!

An unforgettable night that I feel that fairytales do come true and movies can become reality. (:

2011 Resolutions

I still prefer to pen down my 2011 Resolutions in Blogger which I've been using it since 2004? It has been 7 years for now, I love to keep them together as great memories unless Blogger close down one day. ): (Please don't.)

Eve of New Year, as usual, keeping myself away from crowded venues. Planned to go the countdown event beside Civic Centre with Dear, but we were too tired from playing Wii at my house with my bro and gf. Nah, it's not ours. It's my bro's friend's. However, lucky for us, my family and baby got the chance to witness some parts of the fireworks from our living room (supposedly, a balcony). Fireworks is so beautiful!

Reflecting back to my 2010 resolutions, I'm proud that I've managed to get most done! With what's not completed, I'll probably add on to my 2011 resolutions. (:

2010 Major Events:
- Graduated from NYP and got my Diploma in Business Management!
- Attended MSL 10th Anniversary Dinner.
- Celebrated Dear's 21st Birthday with Buffet Catering at his house.
- Worked part-time at Singtel for 3 months, met great friends (Chloe and Lynn)!
- Annemari and Nastja came to Singapore and we became their tour guide. It was great meeting them again!
- First ever Overseas Trip with Dearie to Cameron Highlands and Sunway Lagoon! :D
- Rejected from Local Unis and successfully registered into Curtin Singapore, a HRM and Management Degree.
- Dinner celebration for Our 6th Anniversary! It was at a fine dining restaurant called Forlino, at One Fullerton.Was the first time of the 6 years, we went for fine dining! Great ambience and I just love the night that we spent together!
- Celebrated my 20th Birthday on a mini cruise, Riverboat to replace a yacht birthday celebration. Felt so loved and have received many great presents! Have never received so many presents before!

Not completed in 2010:
- Set up a blogshop (Probably not planning to do it this year)
- Going overseas with girlfriends (I'm waiting.. and I hope it comes true this year)
- Scrapbook for Germany Trip (I'll have to get the pictures from Zhiyin first. It just bring so much pain that the Germany pictures and diary I had in HDD is gone. I want to get back. Still struggling to get it back.)
- Continue my piano (Am finding a cheaper alternative and to have additional money for this exp leisure. Gonna have to postpone it to next year)

New Resolutions:
- Get at least 'Distinction' for all the rest of my modules.
- Make plans for my future (Career, flat and marriage. Don't mistaken, just plans.)
- Photoshoots before turning 21 (Of cos, need to slim down first! Like at least no fats bulging out.)
- Slim down (Forever my resolutions.)
- Continue dancing..
- More catch ups with friends!
- Japan for holidays (Pretty pleaseee, Mummy!)
- Clear my wardrobe again for more apparels in!
- Plan a grand/memorable 21st Birthday Party.
- Start to manage my finance once I start earning my own salary.
- A new phone when my contract ends. Eyeing on either HTC/BB/Iphone.

And, most importantly, creating more happy moments with my loved ones, Dearie, Family and my girlfriends! :D All to be safe, healthy and happy, that's all it takes.

This year will be more of focusing on studies, coming next year will expect a drastic change.

Till then,
I shall get started on my tutorials now.

No more 1x, start of my 20th Journey.

An hour more to the end of my birthday. It's my 20th this year! No longer 1x, feels kinda different. Though this year my birthday falls on a weekday and that I have lessons from afternoon all the way till night, I celebrated my birthday on 14 Dec 2010. I felt like my birthday just passed 10 days ago! If not for Dearie's sweeeet surprise, popping at my door last midnight, holding a small Oreo Cheesecake with candle, singing Happy Birthday song for me, I wouldn't have felt that my birthday is in fact today. And, the number of birthday wishes on Facebook is unbelievable (>80), not forgetting SMS wishes. I'm elated even if it was just mere Facebook wishes. THANK YOU, all of you! :D Without these wishes, I probably just forget that I'm turning 20 today.

Much said, my Pre-Birthday Celebration on a mini cruise (Riverboat) made me like a princess that night! I enjoyed company with my lovely family, close poly friends and my boy. That night was perfect and I've long wanted such a celebration since young. (I dont know when but subconsciously I did yearn for one.) I always envy others for receiving many birthday gifts and throwing party with many people. I've been attending birthday parties and now, I finally have one. Though a small one, but that was enough to put a smile on my face all night long and even now, I still reminisce that night. (: THANK YOU for those who made my birthday celebration a success!

Baby, I don't know what to say except "Thank You". I know you've never been romantic like those guys in TV drama, but I know you did all these from your heart. And, I can see it, feel it. Happy 6th Anniversary! :)

After months of hiatus, it's time for me to clear the webs in my blog.
Actually there's not much of an event during this hiatus, it's more of completing all the projects assignments. My results were pretty much average, bad for a few. Whatever it is, I shall concentrate on my exams now. It's coming in 2 weeks time! :/


Oh ya, the only big thing that happened recently was being bitten by a BUG! DAMN THE &*^$#%^ BUG! Reckoned it must be the termites or wood lice on the sofa at The Coffee Bean (Orchard Central) that bit me on my thighs that made it look like BIG FAT PIG TROTTERS! The wound got so sore and big, the doctor even wrote on my prescription card "10cm x 2, 1 8cm". That was how big they were and they were warm, pain and itchy! Eww.. I thought I'm going to get a Lymph Disease or sth. I got so tensed up last week because of these bites. Luckily, it all subsided and are gone now!


Our 6th Anniversary! :)

On a brighter note, it's our 6th Anniversary today! :D
Baby and I had our Anniversary Dinner Celebration at Forlino, a fine Italian dining. Our first fine dining date. Baby was so funny, he couldn't get used to that kind of environment. I think for me, it's my second time, first was with family and it was pretty okay with me. We chose that place was because I've got the "1 for 1" promo from Women's Weekly and we had the Degustation 5-course Dinner. The food was great and the night scenery was beautiful. Though we couldn't get the side view, we still enjoyed ourselves with the great food and ambiance.

I bought a little gift for baby. We actually mutually agreed not to buy each other's gifts on our Anniversary but I always love to give him a small note or letter. I saw a heart-shaped jigsaw card a few days back and I thought it was cute and lovely. After having baby piecing up 2 Jigsaws for me, 1 with hundred over pieces, another thousand over pieces, now I shall let him fix this heart-shaped jigsaw in order for him to read the note I wrote for him on the Jigsaw card. Hehe. It looks simple to piece it up but in actual fact, you still need some time. Haha. Baby play cheat! He pieced up the words first. Nevertheless, I hope he likes that little gift! :)

Since we had our celebration ytd, we just spent our day accompanying one another at home. Having some time for ourselves, watching shows together, bickering and teasing each other. I just love it this way. 


We are walking towards our 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th... and so on. We shall continue to walk hand in hand together on the path we chose six years ago. I want to grow old with you, I want to do everything with you, I just want you, baby.

School Life in Curtin Uni.

I know, my blog has been stagnant for a very long time. I guess visitors have stopped popping by knowing there's no trail of blogging taking place. Wanting to recall back the past weeks of events, I can't seem to remember all of them. I'll just pen down some recent events then.

First! Dearie's nephew, Zaeden is finally born on 9 Sept 2010. Everyone is so excited and thankful that he's all healthy and now staying home with his family. :D My eyes just couldn't shift away from that cutie pie even though he is soundly asleep. Carried him in my arms and I could feel he's so tiny and soft. When he's about a few month's old, maybe Dearie and I will bring him out for a walk. :) I wanna see him tmr! He's sooooo CUTE!

My hiatus from blog has explained how busy I am for the past month. Even though I had my 1 week break during end Aug, I still had not much free time. Not that I'm not busy now, perhaps just not in the mood to do my assignment. Last week was the worst week ever that I chiong my assignment till the very last hour, like seriously! I had to cab down to sch after that. I hope I wont have to for this coming assignment. *pray*

Driving has been going on for quite some time. Currently at Stage 3, left with parallel parking that's all. I can't imagine how nervous I'll be when I'm taking the test. =X I seriously hope and pray that I'll pass the first time. Speaking of which, the test date will be very far from now since I can only book when I clear 33 subjects, now at 29. Hmm.. Have been dragging my lesson for these few weeks cos of my assignments. Need a closer timing to practice.

Saturdays have been put aside for dancing, currently learning Girls' Combo MV, which includes Bad Girl Good Girl, I My Me Mine, Mr Boogie and I Go Crazy Because Of You. I realised I'm really slow in picking up steps, is it because I'm slow at reacting? :( Ytd, finally caught STEP UP 3D with mummy, brother and his gf at Shaw Lido after sooooo long. My first time there watching a movie; We chose there because Cathay has stopped showing Step Up in 3D. Oh well, wasn't that old as I expected. A bit pity though, for that show. I expected more from their 3D effects. But the dancers are really wooah; I especially love the robotic guy and the Italian twins. *thumbs up*


Long weekends have at least given me some time to catch my breath after going for 2 weeks of weekend classes. My sch life has somehow made a change to my life and I feel it slapping in my face. The change that I'm going through is rough, which disrupted my mood in particular, had added much melancholy and listlessness to my life. Large part of the reason behind might be the absence of my close clique of friends. Although I have had a few friends in Curtin, it just sucks to know that they're not sticking with you for every modules as we're taking different modules altogether. It difficult to bond somehow or rather. I hope we can choose for the next trimester so that we get the same modules. :)

Havent been really shopping and I'm getting out of clothes to wear. Actually, I have new apparels but mostly for dates, not appropriate for sch. Need to get some tops and bottoms. Need retail therapy, maybe online shopping since I've not much free time.

Baby's having a day off tmr! :D Another day granted to acc him.
